to Get There... |
The airport is a short taxi ride from the city centre. The journey costs around 16 EUR. It is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, 800 metres from the hotel. Buses service the city centre; tickets can be bought at tobacconists or vending machines. Tickets are sold on a time basis - one-hour, two-hour or 24-hour tickets. Traffic is restricted in the city centre and parking is expensive, so the centre of Florence is best explored on foot. Taxis wait outside Stazione di Santa Maria Novella.
Driving directions: Exit the highway at Firenze Signa and follow the signs for Centro. After the Ponte alla Vittoria bridge turn right in the Lungarno. The second street on the left is Via Magenta. Turn into this street for the hotel.
